A non-display radio featuring a 16-channel capacity, three programmable buttons and available on UHF & VHF frequencies, the Motorola DP2400e can operate in both analogue and digital modes.

With support for Motorola’s MOTOTRBO digital system, the Motorola DP2400e is part of the next generation of two-way radio solutions, opening the door to innovations such as multi-site trunking, radio-broadband integration and advanced control centre operations, which are proven to boost efficiency and coordination across the biggest organisations.

Compared to the previous model, the Motorola DP2400e boasts 16 per cent better signal coverage and, like the rest of the revamped MOTOTRBO range, benefits from up to 29 hours of battery life with the innovative IMPRES smart energy system.

With an improved IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, the Motorola DP2400e digital radio is perfectly suited to harsh environments such as construction and manufacturing, where day-in, day-out durability is a must. It meets tough military-grade specifications for resistance to shock, vibration, impact, humidity and temperature extremes.

As with the rest of the DP2000e range, the DP2400e benefits from Motorola’s best-ever audio technology. The cutting-edge IMPRES system provides consistent sound quality in all environments; with SINC+ advanced noise cancellation, the message can be heard loud and clear regardless of background noise. It also features intelligent audio, meaning the volume automatically adjusts to compensate for environmental noise and an acoustic feedback suppressor.

The Motorola DP2400e comes programmed with Lone Worker remote monitoring as standard, along with an emergency alert button and transmit interrupt features. The ability to make and receive private and group calls means you can communicate with certain colleagues without disturbing others, and there are options for both basic and enhanced privacy encryption to ensure communications remain secure over the airwaves. Alternative methods of communication to voice are supported in the form of pre-programmable text messages sent with the push of a button. A vibrating belt clip option also discreetly alerts the wearer to a call or text.
